Your role
 
As process engineer you will be responsible to contribute to the improvement and further development of the new products and production processes in Advanced Cords.

• You are based at the headquarter of Advanced Cords in Aalter and work in a global organization. 
• You improve existing production processes and design / adapt machines with respect to
  quality, cost, ecology, health and safety.
• You will be involved in the development and optimization of new and existing products
• You release new processes in production.
• You drive process improvements towards suppliers and partners.
• You provide technical assistance in quality and operational issues.
• You explore, propose and implement new technologies for the processes.
• You build up expertise on the use of our products in specific applications and link this to product and process measures.
• Depending on your training evaluation and your affinity, you will be focusing more on process development or more on product and application development which happens in close collaboration with our customers and partners.
   

Your profile
 

• You are holding a master degree in science/engineering or commercial engineering.
• It’s an added value but not a must if you gained a first, relevant working experience in product/process engineering or/and project management.
• Expertise in cord or rope making processes or plastic processing is a strong plus.
• It gives you energy to approach and solve problems in an accurate and systematic way.
• You have very strong analytical, people and coaching skills.
• You have strong communication skills what makes you capable to foster open communication.
• You are a real team player and have a passion to build strong relationships between the
  different parties you cooperate with.
• You are who likes to generate new ideas and takes initiative.
• You have a strong drive for result and are highly committed to pursue goals and work hard to achieve them.
• You speak and write fluently in English and Dutch.
