Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for leading innovation and enhancement of of Flexisteel products. This  involves coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market needs.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Innovation & Development: Drive the development of new  technologies and the improvement of existing products, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and performance.
  • Leadership & Management: Oversee and mentor a team of technology and development technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Skills

  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing technologies, and quality standards.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve product and process issues.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and other departments.

Previous Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product or process development within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in project management and product development.

Qualifications and Education

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
