About the role
As a Key Account Manager in our Oil & Gas division of BBRG (Bridon-Bekaert Ropes group), you’re in charge of developing the long-term strategy (5 yrs rolling strategic plans) for own accounts in Europe and orchestrating its execution by coordinating actions across departments and regions. You build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with own accounts by positioning yourself as a dedicated resource and you leverage the relationship to ensure sustainable added value to the accounts as well as to BBRG in terms of top-line sales & bottom-line profit growth.
Your Impact as Key Account Manager Oil & Gas:
- You ensure full account transparency by gathering customer and competitor intelligence data as inputs for understanding the strategic intent of the account and its key priorities and business goals.
- You develop the long-term (5 year) rolling strategic plans for your own account(s), translate them into a business plan and orchestrates the execution across functions/departments and locations globally.
- You build long-term relationships with own account(s), committed to helping them solve their problems, realise their business goals, and achieve mutual success.
- You leverage sustainable value creation to the account(s) as well as to BBRG in terms of both top line sales and bottom-line profit growth through capturing opportunities, trust and gravitas at all levels of the organization internally and externally within the account organization.
About You
Essential skills & competencies
- You have a master’s degree and have at least 4 years of experience in a technical sales role, defining a key account strategy and managing large and complex accounts.
- You can build sound working relationships & form positive connections and you can influence at all levels.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and outstanding negotiation skills.
- You have a strong business and commercial acumen.
- Willing to travel.
- Fluent in English.
