Bekaert organization is reviewing the success and performance of these end-to-end user journey through seamless enterprise integration processes. You will join us as “Solution Architect – Enterprise Integration” to provide technical leadership for leading design and practices related to Integration solutions within enterprise as well as with external partners (customers, suppliers, financial organizations etc.)

You are accountable to partner with technical, functional, and business peers to guide the solution design efforts best suited to meet business objectives. In addition to technical expertise, the role also calls for the ability to demonstrate effectiveness in execution, working with our delivery partners to ensure smooth execution and support. As a solution architect you will lead the organization in developing, maintaining, and governing of the Integration Landscape.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

As Solution Architect (Enterprise Integration) you shall be involved in researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on any new corporate software applications or innovations from a perspective of design, integration, and technical fit with other systems. Lead, manage, and support the integration process for customers integrating with various environments.

You will also help with integration architecture guidelines, standards and solutions that support the business strategy, business outcomes and needs. Lead and provide guidance to the teams on Application-to-Application (A2A) and Business-to-Business (B2B) integration.

You will:

• Understand business needs, system functionality and business processes to maintain the source and /or target data and develop the process and data integration design

• Establish data strategy and high-level data architecture around source and destination database / from and to approved data sources.
• Create technical design, which includes current and future functionality, Applications / Database objects impacted, specifications, and flows/diagrams to detail the Integration implementation.
• Design, develop, test, and implement complex event processing solutions that unlock the value of enterprise information.
• Develop, present and deliver high impact demonstrations and prototypes of integration solutions for stakeholders
• Hands on design, development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Microsoft Logic Apps platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration and Enterprise web services APIs)
• Analyse source and target systems and source / target system data to assess system constraints, data quality and gaps. Work with technical and business representatives to determine strategies for handling gaps/anomalies that are identified.
• Define and implement best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems such as ERP, Customer systems and Supply Chain systems (e.g SAP, Microsoft, Adobe Commerce, OMP)
• Manage, monitor, sustain, troubleshoot and support integrations built using SAP CPI / MuleSoft / Microsoft Logic Apps, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Manage technical risk by identifying and advocating for the best possible solution as well as Identify inefficiencies or gaps (data integrity, security, performance, manageability, etc.)
• Work closely with technical and functional teams to understand the business requirements and plan technology architecture and solutions in line with SAP best practices.
• Lead activities to manage software life-cycle management among non-production and production environments.
• Provide guidance and drive the creation of standards, reusable assets, and automation required for scale and multiple lines of business adoption.
• Lead a team of globally distributed developers, working with business stakeholders, and working in a large enterprise setting with multiple cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of overall experience, 6+ years into solution architecture with a deep knowledge in a at least one ERP module
• Should have experience in integrating on premise SAP systems with SAP cloud applications such as SuccessFactors, Concur and Commerce, utilizing PI, PO, CPI, SAP Cloud Platform API Management etc.
• Should have knowledge of Integration Architecture Patterns
• Extensive Integration Architecture experience in SAP PI/PO
• Strong knowledge of using IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, ABAP Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, SFTP
• Specific proficiency with software integration technologies including REST API's and Mulesoft
• Hands-on experience with designing and building Mule 4 projects for different orchestration and integration patterns (for example API’s, SOAP services, scheduled processes, and message queuing).
• Experience in architecting solutions with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform on Mule 4, MCPA and MCIA certification would be preferred.
• Experience in Cloud Architecture in one Cloud environment SAP Cloud
• Must have Extensive experience of working in various SAP specific Integration technologies (ABAP Proxy, BAPI/IDOC/Web Services)
• Maintain Development standards and Best Practices
• Monitor application design and ensures compliance with architectural standards.
• Should have experience in integrating with Non SAP systems, A2A and B2B integration
• Knowledge in ABAP developments around various processes/functionalities with knowledge in the area of SD/SCM/Procurement
• Good understanding of SAP ERP modules, such as: Financial Accounting, Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, Materials Management, Human Resource
• Demonstrate excellent technical & architecture skills in the context of cloud based global platform design, service management and product lifecycle management
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs for the various software applications.
• Analyze, understand, and improve tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing integrations
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction with the integration process
