About the role  Technical Lead - CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security

Job Location -Bengaluru 

I. Purpose of the Job
As Technical Lead - CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security you help different teams and tracks in leading IT and Digital implementations for the Quote-To-Cash domain and be a crucial member of the delivery teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to join our Digital Commerce team within the Steel Transformation Manufacturing domain. As the Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in leading the design, implementation, and optimization of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure management, tools selection, and security measures for our B2B customer portal, B2C E-Commerce portals, and Customer Engagement portals on a global scale. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless delivery of robust, secure, and high-performance digital solutions, enabling our customers to engage with our products and services effectively.

Your Impact as Technical Lead -

• Lead the technical strategy and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices for our digital commerce portals.

• Design, deploy, and manage the underlying infrastructure that supports our portals, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, QA specialists, and product managers to drive efficient and effective development processes.

• Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate tools and technologies that enhance the development, deployment, and monitoring of our portals.

• Establish and enforce security best practices, ensuring the protection of sensitive customer data and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across the development lifecycle.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure, and security domains.

Essential Skilss & Competencies:

• Strong experience in designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for web applications, preferably in the E-commerce domain.

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipeline management

• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including version control (e.g., Git), containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).

• Solid background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with the ability to architect and manage cloud-based infrastructure.

• In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and tools to safeguard digital platforms and customer data.

• Expertise in selecting and integrating development and monitoring tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, JIRA, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

• Excellent programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, to automate processes and tasks.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capacity to lead root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

• Outstanding communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams, present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and document processes.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or any other similar qualification.

• Advanced certifications in relevant areas (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud, security) are a strong plus.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure management.

• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing and guiding teams in a collaborative environment.

• 2+ years of experience specifically in supporting DevOps for E-Commerce domains with microservice architecture.

• A strong portfolio of successful projects that highlight your contributions to CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure, and security aspects.

• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead role with a strong focus on SAP SD and/or ABAP development

• Good written and verbal communication skills (in English).

• Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment
