About the role  

As a Technical lead you will be developing, governing and maintaining the enterprise integration and technology landscape. You will also work with the vendors to govern integration design guidelines, standards, automation and maintain the platform for all the all Application-to-Application (A2A), Business-to-Business (B2B) integration and Enterprise Messaging.

Your Impact  As a Technical Lead -

• Work in collaboration with Solution Architects and Technology vendor team to deliver API integration projects.

• Create the MuleSoft APIs using open API specifications and MuleSoft – API led connecivity architecture.

• Provide guidance and drive the creation of standards, reusable assets, and automation required for scale and multiple lines of business adoption with C4E mindset.

• Be able to provide technical expertise on system, process & experience APIs and complete peer code reviews with team members in a timely manner to ensure code standards, completeness, cleanliness, and quality.

• Lead platform management & maintenance activities in MuleSoft Anypoint platform (cloudhub).

• Lead a team of globally distributed developers, working with business stakeholders, and working in a large enterprise setting with multiple cross-functional teams.

• Work closely and delegate tasks to tech team for sprint planning, tech design, resource allocation and delivery to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

• Lead activities to manage software life-cycle management among non-production and production environments.

• Ensure integration applications are delivered with better qulaity and coding standards by working with IT implementation partners / System Integrators

• Analysing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to implement automate the manual process

• Lead diagnosis and troubleshooting efforts with team for critical and repetitive issues occuring in the systems.

About You

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• 7+ years of hands on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of API integration between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using MuleSoft.

• Good hands on experience in developing APIs using Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ).

• Developing solution features following MuleSoft development best practices, ensuring solution performance and system scalability.

• Should have knowledge on various out of the box connectors usage,  custom connector development and custom API policy development.

• Testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage.

• Must have relevant experience in troubleshooting, triage, root cause analysis and performance monitoring of Anypoint API paltform.

• Good knowledge and experience in application development, various API & ESB patterns, cloud compute, database management, identity management and API security.

• Experience in API life cycles and API security, Experience with MUnit or other automated testing tools.

• Good experience in implementing DevSecOps - CICD, (Azure, Jenkins), Code quality rules (Sonar, JSLint, ESLint) and performance monitoring tools like New Relic/App Dynamics for scalable use cases.

• Having exposure to SAP – PI/CPI OR Azure cloud platforms and components would be a valuable asset.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience in the field of Business Systems and IT including experience with design, development and integration of applications, integration patterns (A2A, B2B, B2B2C, B2C) and ERP integrations

• Deep expertise in creation and consumption of REST and SOAP web services using open API specifications.

• Good written and verbal communication skills (in English).

• Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment
