We are looking to reinforce our BBU team with a:

BMS Process Owner

The BMS process owners are fundamental to the improve business performance through the continuous implementation of improvement projects across all key streams of the business.  They will support and drive aspects of the BMS platform to identify and eliminate waste.

Key accountabilities:

• Foster and improve the BMS platform
• Reduce wastes from the process by identifying improvement opportunities using the DMAIC approach.
• Through on the job training and support, implement standards across shifts to incorporate Job Changes, Operational Run Times etc…
• Maximise machine availability through standardisation
• Support Operations to drive OEE
• Support and facilitate Kaizen events
• Be a 5S champion!
• Scrap Management
• Operational Projects

Key Skills and Qualities:

• Engineering experience in a similar industry
• Worked on and confident in SAP
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience on Microsoft packages
• Experience with tooling, hot rolling, cold rolling and/or annealing processes
• Proven experience in project management
• A ‘Can Do’ attitude
• •The ability to multi task and keep several plates spinning
• Proven problem solving
