Job Description:

As the Material Control Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the Doncaster site, meeting targets related to quality, costs, delivery, safety, continuous improvement, and engagement. Key responsibilities include:

• Championing safety and enforcing company Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
• Managing works order documents to facilitate seamless transitions between departments.
• Coordinating stock take activities and overseeing the entire process related to site consumables.
• Facilitating effective communication through daily meetings.
• Ensuring plant operations meet both internal and external customer expectations.
• Upholding compliance with the company Quality Management System and recommending process improvements as needed.
• Deputizing for management and taking on additional duties as required.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate:

• Hands-on and proactive leadership capabilities.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of production processes.
• Previous experience in a Team Leader role is advantageous.
