Job Title: Ebner Operator

Location: Bradford

Salary: Basic pay is £24660.20 plus £6165.05 shift allowance per annum.

Shifts: Continental Shift Pattern 4 days on, 4 days off (Nights Only)

Job Purpose:

Join our team in Bradford as an Ebner Operator at Bekaert! Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient processing of high-quality materials through the Ebner heat treatment process, QC testing, oil dipping, and packaging, all done in a lean and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Organize workloads to maintain adherence to Kanban systems.
• Load and unload Ebner furnaces efficiently.
• Monitor and understand Ebner heat treatment cycles.
• Conduct final product testing, including visual, mechanical, and metallographic testing.
• Manage samples and reject material effectively.
• Process materials through oil dipping.
• Package finished goods according to specifications.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in mechanical and metallographic testing (Desirable)
• Valid FLT license.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and previous SAP experience.
• Familiarity of Ebner systems
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Reliability and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
