Your responsibilities

 

As a Sales & Market Manager you have the mission to draft the strategic roadmap for sustainable growth of masonry reinforcement in the UK as well as implement it, aside your colleagues, using existing market studies and insights on which you build further.

 

To make this a success:

 

  • You analyze the market in-depth, indicate the key-elements of the business, and understand the industry, its players, competition and trends. Next to that the elaboration of the value chain, a SWOT analysis etc. Based on your study, you present to the management a commercial and marketing growth plan.
  • You join the commercial team in the implementation of the commercial strategy. You bring the roadmap in practice, in the field, by working with our (potential) customers, the different players in the market and our marketing and technical department to make it happen.
  • You lead the sales process for your region. Through a deep understanding of the business of your customers and thanks to your strong project consultancy and advisory skills, you are able to create value for our customers and the entire chain.
  • You create and implement account plans to make their business stronger.
  • You articulate solutions and demonstrate the realized value of our products.
  • You support the customer project leads by convincing third party stakeholders of the customers’ solution and ensure job site support. You follow-up on receivables and facilitate credit control.
  • As accountable for your dedicated geographical area or accounts, you work with a high degree of autonomy, supported and coached by your manager.
  • You manage the objectives; you provide monthly forecasting and reporting.  
     

Your profile

  • You hold a Master in economics, marketing or business administration.
  • You have working experience in a strategy consultancy or industry research role; you also have experience in bringing a commercial plan/roadmap into action.
  • You have sales experience.
  • You have a strong analytical mind in order to come to well-prepared business proposals.
  • You have a good technical understanding, and an interest and motivation to learn about our solutions & products.
  • You are eager to develop yourself further within the commercial domain.
  • You work in a systematic way.
  • You are a team player. You have strong communication and influencing skills.
  • You are ambitious and result oriented.
  • You are based in the UK and are willing to travel regularly.
