About the role
Your Impact as Stored Supervisor
- To manage the day to day stores operations run smoothly, and ensure 100% availability of all stocked materials
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of Goods in, ensuring procedures are adhered to and completed in a correct and timely manner
- Ensure inventory is accurate and maintained via PPI counts/stock counts and keep accurate inventory of materials via SAP stock control system, safety stocks limits.
- To manage a rolling stock check program (PPI counts), monitoring booking out procedures, escalation of issues and communicating reports
- Adhoc order placement as and when required in order to keep the downtime as minimal as possible.
- Working closely with Purchasing – pricing. Stock, supplier management.
- Work to reduce obsolete and slow moving stock (KPI) to minimise inventory and working capital.
- Departmental KPI’s to be monitored and driven throughout department and reported with purchasing.
- Maintain MRP run – flush through based on usage, lead time, cost etc to work with the buyer and ensure stock is moving continuously.

- X Proven successful experience of working in a stores environment and a good knowledge of warehouse principles
- Ability to sustain and develop team working
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, utilising appropriate interpersonal styles
- Good understanding of customer deliverables, impact of failure and associated costs
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong people and performance management skills
- Computer literate
- Strong numerical skills
- Proactive attitude and mindset.
- Organised and flexible with attention to detail
- Demonstrate prioritization of workload and time management.
