As part of Bekaert’s Digital ambition, the Change Facilitator will enable and drive change across all Bekaert business units in terms of Digitalization in operations, bringing value through Digital Manufacturing, consisting of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and the Digital Building Management System (BMS) functionalities.

 

The Change Facilitator plays an important part in facilitating the new deployments of MES and Digital BMS, in this case for ‘Rest of World’ which implies all regions excluding North Asia (mainly: Europe, North and South America), and in supporting the deployment of new functionality to all relevant plants in the assigned region. MS solutions.

 

Key responsibilities are:

 

- Be the key point of contact between plants that are planned for MES with Digital BMS deployment , focusing on change and value.

- Work very closely with IT Implementation Lead, who takes charge of the technical side of deployment (hardware, software, …).

- Drive value throughout the process by being a true change agent.

- Define and deliver a deployment plan.

- Cooperate with:

     - Product Manager Digital Manufacturing and Intelligent Processes to ensure activities and priorities are coordinated.

     - IT Product Manager / Release Train Engineer to jointly ensure the roadmap is well defined on program level.

     - Product Owners, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to ensure value creation mechanisms are clear.

     - BU stakeholders to capture needs and to align on progress and unblock potential roadblocks.

 

Background

 

- Has a production environment background and/or likes being in production environments and comes preferably from a plant itself (additionally, knowledge and/or affinity with shopfloor management,   

  productivity, quality, process control and maintenance is a plus)

- Has possibly had a previous change or change management position (minimum 5 years)

- Has experience in bringing digitalization

- Has impact and credibility, with strong communication and coaching skills

- Has a proven record in driving change as a servant leader

- Has very good knowledge of existing platforms (Apriso, SAP, BW, automation, Microsoft technology…)

- Displays strong project management skills

- Optional: has experience in SAFe methodology (or Agile)
