About the role
Your Impact as Global Account Engineer:

•    You take care of a large Key Account Customer in the rubber reïnforcement industry
•    You are the technical interface between Bekaert and the customer
•    You initiate and coordinate innovation projects and new products.
•    You respond to technical questions of existing products.
•    You take care of customer claims when they are related to product development.
•    By engaging with the customer and using the full capabilities of the Bekaert value chain, you will deliver products and services with unique Bekaert identity that live up to our Bekaert business strategy.

About You
Essential skills & competences

•    You preferably have 3 years’ experience in a technical role Technical Center or plant (70%)
•    You have a strong commercial and technical mindset and are customer oriented (30%)
•    You have a master degree in science/electromechanical engineering or a related field.
•    You have Project Management skills and experience.
•    You have strong people relationship as well as communication and presentation skills.

•    You have an open mindset you are eager to learn new things.
•    You like testing new tools and ways of working.
•    You are fluent in English; any other language is a plus.
•    You are willing to travel, 30% of working time.
