About the role

Your impact as SH&E Manager BeCare, Compliance and Systems is to develop and implement behavioral safety concepts, manage compliance-related processes, implement IT tools and systems to support a globally managed SH&E environment.

• Lead & champion the Bekaert behavioural safety journey globally.
• Lead & champion SH&E legal compliance globally with all applicable international / local / legal / Bekaert norms and requirements.
• Lead the global SH&E internal/2nd party audit program.
• Lead the global compliance capex portfolio board/compliance capex process.
• Lead the selection and implementation of the necessary IT tools to support the SH&E processes.
• Act as SH&E business partner for business unit Steel Wire Solutions.
• Companion in globally defined SH&E related communications, campaigns, H&S week.

About You

Essential skills & competences

• You have a degree in engineering or operations management.
• You have strong knowledge and understanding of SH&E processes.
• You have +5 years of experience in an operational environment.
• You have technical knowledge and broad operational skills.
• You have industrial/manufacturing background.
• You are an excellent communicator with influential skills.
• You have proven track of leadership & management skills.
• You can communicate fluently in English.
