About the role

 Your Impact as Lead R&D Process Development


  • Responsible for current process optimisation with regards to fiber-and-or-powder based products.
  • Lead a technician’s, scientists, engineers by providing clear long- and short-term targets.
  • Manage day to day activities.
  • Ensuring quality of final product is within specification set by the Global quality manager.
  • Creating the roadmap for future process optimisation including new production technologies.
  • Act as the key link between R&D process development and operations.
  • Provide updates on current project status and highlighting risks
  • This position will report directly to the Head of Technology – Hydrogen.

About You

Essential skills & competencies


  • University degree (Master’s or Bachelor's) in Process Engineering or a related field with minimum of 5 years of experience in the area as specified.
  • Strong acumen for project management according to AP/QP processes.
  • Technical knowledge of general fiber product and process technologies. Experience in metal fiber and/or powders would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Quality focussed mindset.
  • Pragmatic approach for problem solving with a focus on industrialisation and actively contributing to finding solutions.
  • Comfortable in scouting for new technologies that could provide a strategic advantage in our production process.
  • Capable to work in a fast changing and dynamic environment with short development timelines for new products.
  • Self-driven with a problem-solving attitude and a strong team player.
  • Experience leading a team of professionals within industrial process optimization.
