Bridon-Bekaert The Ropes Group are looking for a Commercial Analyst.

 

The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions for the EMEIA division, specifically sales, cost of sales and product/inventory valuation. To assist the Costing Manager in delivering the region’s business objectives through the identification of risks, inefficiencies and business opportunities. To support the EMEIA Central Finance Function in the accurate and timely accounting and administrative duties of the Head Office Function, specifically Commercial, Costing and month end reporting.

 

The main accountabilities include but not limited to:

  • Focus on quality
  • Assist in the commercial forecast and budget process
  • Maintain and control the region's costing system and product all the region's product costings to enable informed financial decisions to be made
  • Assist the Costing Manager to provide information around make versus buy decisions and inventory management
  • Assist the Costing Manager and the general commercial team to support commercial tenders, pricing opportunities and margin analysis
  • Produce daily and monthly reports for sales, order intake, factory unitlisaion and stock analysis 
  • Produce the monthly machine performance and variance analysis reports
  • Ensure adherence to Group reporting timetables
  • Assist in the completion of the monthly reporting packages for submission to Group for consolidation

  • Highly articulate in verbal and written communications, a confident presenter
  • Practical & solutions-orientated - understand what makes a manufacturing business profitable 
  • Improves systems and processes to drive accuracy and transparency
  • A team player - work with a variety of financial and non-financial personnel at all levels
