About the role

Due to ongoing growth and development, we are recruiting for an experienced Site Services Technician to join our established team based in Scotland. As part of a team of 11 reporting into our Deployment Lead this role will be integral to our Site Services offering for our customers and key to building and maintaining existing relationships.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Have experience in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment, ideally with previous experience in a similar role.
• Ideally, some knowledge of fibre rope products would be useful, although full training will be provided!
• Have some knowledge and experience in off-shore fibre rope applications, installation & repair.
• Able to undertake NDE inspections and write accompanying NDE inspection report on Windows Microsoft office or equivalent IT system.
• Possess the ability to read engineering drawings
• Ideally have previous experience of installation, inspection and repair of wire and fibre ropes in service and offshore survival certification
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude to work and be a strong team player, being flexible and able to respond in a positive manner to changing priorities at short notice
• Be able to effectively communicate with clients, both verbally in in writing. 
• Be able to absorb and understand technical information with purpose of being able to contribute to the writing of methods statements and risk assessments
• Have a good general standard of education & possess a full UK driving licence
