Within our business platform Building Products, we commercialize amongst others Dramix® steel fibers for concrete reinforcement or for reinforcement of industrial floors. For more than 40 years, the Dramix® steel fibers have the number 1 position in the market. Innovation & superior service to our customers contribute to this success. 

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Sales Manager Building Products for the markets in Sweden and Norway in order to achieve our growth ambitions for the future. It will be your mission to further develop the market of Dramix® steel fibers.


Your role

 

  • You achieve your sales targets by building and further strengthening the relations with our existing and future customers, and by delivering value-adding solutions to them. You will have contact with concrete contractors, architects, engineers, developers, etc. in the sector of concrete constructions (mainly flooring, precast elements and structural applications).
  • You build up a strong insight in the market. You target and segment customers in ready-mixed concrete (batching plant channel). You know which applications and regions to focus on. Your understanding of construction methods, building materials and design possibilities allow you to partner up with your (potential) customers.
  • Through a deep understanding of the business of your customers and thanks to your strong project consultancy and advisory skills, you are able to create value for our customers and for the customers of our customers. You create and implement account plans to make their business stronger, by making use of new products, applications, services, processes,… You articulate solutions and demonstrate the realized value. You support the customer project leads by convincing third party stakeholders of the customer’s solution and ensure job site support.
  • You lead the sales process, from price setting to negotiations and closing the deal. You facilitate credit control.
  • You work with a high degree of autonomy, supported and coached by your regional sales manager. You manage the budget, you provide monthly forecasting and reporting and you draw up profile reports for key customers.

 

Your profile

 

  • You have a master’s degree in engineering specialized in construction or have worked in the construction segment.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a role in construction business or in a design office.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
  • You travel about 40% of your time.
  • You are entrepreneurial and you like to build and extend a network.
  • You like to influence others and you like to negotiate.
  • You like to deliver superior service to your customers by delivering technical advice and making the necessary calculations to make the projects of your customer successful.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a commercial role.
