Purpose and Mission

As a Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in connecting customer demand, production capacity, and supply chain activities across three manufacturing locations: Hamme, Antwerp, and Verrebroek. By creating smart, efficient production plans and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, you will help ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business success while driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans that balance customer demand, manufacturing efficiency, service levels, and costs across three sites.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Analyze production capacity, resources, staffing, and manufacturing constraints to optimize plant performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring the right balance between availability and working capital.
  • Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Operations teams to align planning activities with maintenance schedules, technical constraints, and business priorities.
  • Ensure production schedules take into account all applicable safety requirements and operational risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall performance.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and locations.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
