Quality Assurance Engineer

Purpose and Mission

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you ensure that our products meet specific standards and customer requirements before they reach the client. You maintain excellent relationships with inspection bodies and ensure that the company complies with both internal and external quality standards. In doing so, you help guarantee customer satisfaction, product safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Coordinating, Supervising, and Planning External Inspections :

Organizing external inspections efficiently based on the production schedule and in consultation with team leaders.

• Management of Product Documentation :

Preparing customer-specific product documentation in line with applicable industrial standards.
Monitoring deadlines for preparing project/order-related documentation.

• Management of Calibration of Measuring and Weighing Devices :

Coordinating timely calibration of all measuring and weighing devices:

Internally in collaboration with lab staff

Externally through specialized partners

• Coordination and Setup of Customer-Specific Testing :

Translating installation and usage procedures of ropes into specific test procedures to simulate rope behavior.
Scheduling and following up on these tests in consultation with the Quality Control Manager.

• Management of Product Type Approvals

Timely initiation of renewal files.
Ensuring compliance with product type approvals.
Implementing and supervising new product or process type approvals.

Skills

• Education level: Bachelor’s degree
• Structured, administratively accurate, and punctual
• Strong organizational skills and able to set the right priorities
• Able to work independently is a must
• Hands-on mentality
• Customer-oriented, helpful, and flexible
• Proactive and deadline-driven
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Languages:

Dutch: very good

English: very good

• Knowledge of textiles or materials is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
