Purpose and Mission
In line with the local and central procedures and guidelines, liaise with customers, external / inside sales & sales management and support the sales process from inquiry to cash, to ensure sales are maximized.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Manage customer relationships & Provide sales support:
- Analyze inquiries and customer specifications, prepare – in line with pricing guidelines from sales manager or SMSO- and send quotations to customers.
- Administration & maintaining of customer-specific price lists, discounts, bonus agreements accurately in alignment with sales management.
- Follow-up and chase feedback for trials and RFQ’s till we have a formal status on hit-rate (lost or won and reason why) and provide to SMSO/sales manager.
Manage Customer Orders:
- Ensure all sales orders received are entered into the SAP system timely and accurately.
- Follow up delivery versus shipment dates, trigger actions to ensure timely shipments and inform customers in advance of late deliveries.
- Follow up customer payments, check credit limits, try to resolve and report overdue payments to external / inside sales.
- Register process and follow up customer claims, build up an accurate and complete file before submitting. Where relevant, escalate such matters to sales management. Formally close claim while making sure credit note has been issued
Skills
- Way of working: Works accurate, proactively, independently, is stress resistant, has good communication skills
- Customer oriented: establishes customer relations by phone and mail, finds way to increase the customer satisfaction
- Systems/Tools: Is eager and quick in learning and working with supporting tools and systems
- Language skills: advance English writing and speaking skills
- Reside in Izmit/Kocaeli
Previous Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer service
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
