Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for supporting equipment design engineers in the development of design concepts and solutions

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Support design engineers and project teams in the development of design concepts and solutions.
  • Assist in creating detailed drawings, models, and prototypes using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, or other specialized tools. 
  • Gather and analyze data to support design proposals and project objectives. 
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, sketches, renderings, technical drawings, and specs. 
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to evaluate design concepts and functionality. 
  • Improve designs by making revisions based on feedback from design engineers, clients or other stakeholders, and test results.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in equipment design techniques.
  • CAD Skills: Competence in design software.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in design work.
  • Collaboration: Working with engineers and designers.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of design standards.
  • Communication: Clear communication skills.

Previous Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in equipment design or a related field within engineering

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
