Purpose of the Job

Manage strategic segment - Automotive, to explore and to grow business worldwide, standing on Bekaert manufacturing platform in China. 

 

Your Role

1. Segment Management

  • Lead Segment Development Plan with clear Product-Application matrix definition.
  • Lead Segment's Hunting platform and support sales team to achieve growth.
  • Define and achieve key breakthroughs.
  • Lead New Product Development.


2. Project Management

  • Act as key project establisher and owner, with clear business case ambition.
  • Seek and solidify support from key stakeholders to guarantee milestones hit.
  • Lead and manage strategic partnerships. 


3. Key Account Management

  • Manage assigned key accounts, take full ownership of business results.
  • Lead Technical Seminar / Technical Day with key accounts. 


4. Coordination with Marketing team

  • Coordinate Product-Application matrix, CTA, CTQ database, and Competitor Info.
  • Coordinate Marketing promotional tools and events - exhibitions, social media...


Your profile

  • University bachelor or master degree with engineering, business or marketing background, MBA preferred.
  • Above 5 years in a B-to-B environment. Experience Auto parts Tier-1, 5+ years automotive industry with proven project success is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills and a good afinity with figures and analytical concepts and tools.
  • Good presentation skills, good at MS Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel etc
  • Good co-ordination skills     
  • Willing to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative, pragmatic & results oriented.
