Manufacturing Cost analyst

Purpose of the Job

General purpose of this position is to centralize and optimize the costing activities, strong support on cost analyze and report, coordinate specific projects between region and local. 

Your Role

1. Standard Costing
-  Standard cost gap analysis periodically to varify FIFO and COGS reasonability;
-  Support typical products standard cost benchmark and gap analyze;
-  Standardize and optimize (half) year standard cost update process by step.

2. Reporting and analysis
-  Region level cost and inventory management report dilevery, or data consolidation for functional report release;
-  Monthly Production Cost Variance analysis at region level and support plant to manage the variance.

3. Project support 
-  Monthly provide group cost, half year provide key process machine hour information to commercial team for margin analyze and strategy decision;
-  Work together with BMS/IE, PTT, CCPD, Engineering, QRR, Marketing, etc. for some saving or growth projects simulation;
-  Collaboration with group costing managers and costing team for any costing related projects, or key information convey.

4. Other adhoc priority
-  Regular check and consolidate regional BMS savings (according to wave) and reconcile with Finance P&L;
-  Support costing manager to verify control process or policy in plants, and seek oppertunity for further standardization or optimization;
-  Support control team to enhance the effiency and accuracy of reporting system;
-  Support region control team to follow up CAPEX projects status and work close with industry project team.

Your Profile

1. At least 2 years experience in costing area. Bekaert processes and products knowledge is preferred;
2. Bachelor degree or above, finance & accounting major is preferred;
3. With ERP system experience, and SAP experience is preferred;
4. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Excel and PPT, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly;
5. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, with CET-4 or above;
6. Strong analytical skills and reporting building capabilities;
7. Good communication, coordination, collaboration and team work.
