Purpose and Mission

  • Technology Leadership & Innovation: Deepen expertise in specialized technical domains, gain insights into market needs and technology trends, lead continuous improvement and breakthrough innovation projects to establish the company's technological leadership in mechanical equipment.
  • Value Creation & Support: Provide professional-level technical support (configuration, customization, modification) to global customers, and offer comprehensive technical enablement to internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Quality, Assembly, Maintenance).

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End Design & Delivery
    • Lead the end-to-end design of complex mechanical equipment: from concept, 3D modeling, detailed drawings to tolerance analysis and BOM release.
    • Ensure design quality and manufacturability, with familiarity in processes such as machining, welding, and heat treatment (DFM).
    • (Preferred) Apply tools like ANSYS/ABAQUS for static, dynamic, and thermal simulations to guide design optimization.
  2. Proactively Track Machinery Industry Innovation & Technology Application
    • Innovative Solution Identification: Systematically evaluate mechanical industry technologies, materials, and processes to identify potential solutions for technical challenges or performance improvements; develop preliminary technical concepts through feasibility studies.
    • Innovative Solution Validation: Plan and execute prototype testing and simulations to assess solution feasibility and cost-effectiveness; prepare validation reports to support development decisions.
    • Innovative Solution Implementation: Integrate validated solutions into product roadmaps with clear implementation plans; provide technical guidance during execution and develop design guidelines for organizational adoption.
  3. Complex Problem Solving & Decision-Making
    • Systematically analyze prototype failures or performance issues to accurately identify root causes.
    • Creatively propose multiple solutions and make optimal decisions after evaluating risks, costs, and benefits.
  4. Technical Support & Collaboration
    • Customer Support: Provide machine configuration, component development, modification/upgrade solutions, and full lifecycle technical support.
    • Internal Support: Offer timely and accurate technical responses and documentation to Sales, Procurement, Quality, Assembly, and Maintenance teams.
    • Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise through training and reports to enhance organizational capabilities.
  5. Project Management & Global Collaboration
    • Develop and execute mechanical design project plans, managing progress, costs, and quality.
    • Collaborate with global equipment design teams (Belgium).
    • Support short-term international travel when necessary.

Skills

Previous Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in mechanical equipment design, with successful end-to-end design cases for complex equipment.
  • Proficient in design software such as SolidWorks/CATIA/NX, familiar with manufacturing process.
  • Fluent in English, can be used as a working language.
  • (Preferred qualifications) Experience with ANSYS/ABAQUS simulation analysis.
  • (Preferred qualifications) Experience collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications and Education

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in mechanical equipment design, with successful end-to-end design cases for complex equipment.
  • Proficient in design software such as SolidWorks/CATIA/NX, familiar with manufacturing processess.
  • Fluent in English, can be used as a working language.
  • (Preferred qualifications) Experience with ANSYS/ABAQUS simulation analysis.
  • (Preferred qualifications) Experience collaborating with global teams.
