Purpose of the Job

• Accountable for gathering input from business teams and writing usable requirements (or stories) for development teams
• Accountable for UAT testing and validation of solution functionality
• Accountable for deployment of solutions and solution adoption
• Accountable for the delivery of the IT services supporting the finance business in the region of North Asia
• Accountable for training
• Accountable for identifying efficiency improvements 

Your Job

1. Delivery of Finance IT services in North Asia

• You steer and follow up the IT services provided  by the third-party vendor such as change requests, incidents and service request resolution
• You capture, understand and summarize the functional change requirements of the users in a clear way. You can identify risks and manage trade-offs. Talk in business language towards business and IT language towards IT
• You test and validate the solutions and conduct user acceptance testing on request of design team
• You are responsible for solution adoption by creating proper user documentation and by communicating and training towards all stakeholders

2. Finance Business Partner for North Asia

• You will provide and build up the knowledge of the user community. This includes on-site visits, sharing best practices and standards
• You will monitor the efficient and adequate use of existing SAP functionalities to support finance operations and finance closing activities
• You can identify business process improvement needs and opportunities and translate those into proposals
• You can initiate efficiency improvement actions in order to avoid recurring problems, questions or uncertainties

3. Deploy/roll-out IT projects in North Asia and other regions when applicable

• You will independently deliver a committed portfolio of FICO roll out projects within the agreed constraints (time, budget, scope and Bekaert standards
• You will take the lead in deploying new functionalities and system changes by optimally preparing the productive system, training the user community, assisting in the user acceptance testing and maintaining the required documentation and properly communicating the changes to the users
• You will assist the design team in testing solutions

Your Profile

1. Skills

• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously
• You are a strong team player, you get energy by getting things done and you have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• You speak and write fluent English (any other language skill is a plus)
• You work result-oriented, pro-active and self-starting
• Ability to gather articulate and document business requirements, identify risks and manage trade-offs
• Ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams

2. Experience

• You have 5 years of experience in working with SAP Finance and Controlling ( SAP ECC and/or SAP S4H)
• You have a strong knowledge of finance and controlling business processes
• You have experience in delivering projects that span multiple business and IT teams in a matrix/international organisation
• You are familiar with structured project methodologie
• Candidates with extended finance background and limited IT exposure can also be considered

3. Others

• You are willing to travel (max 20%)
