Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movements of goods from origin to destination, ensuring smooth transit and compliance  with safety, commercial, and statutory requirements.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end customs operations through appointed customs brokers, ensuring performance adherence to service-level expectations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate, compile, and validate all necessary customs documentation; deliver complete files to the Customs Broker and maintain rigorous follow-up through the entire clearance process.
  • Develop and maintain departmental reporting; monitor product invoices; and ensure accurate, timely documentation flow among customs brokers, warehouses, and logistics partners.
  • Secure the on-time, in-full, and compliant arrival of all sourced materials into Türkiye while meeting quality standards and planned cost structures.
  • Monitor developments in Customs and Tax legislation and ensure full organizational compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate tax and supplier‑related payments with the Finance Department and ensure timely processing.
  • Manage and resolve blocked invoices by coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and administer End-Use Tax Operations, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and timely execution of all related procedures.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in customs regulations, import operations, and related compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Good command of both written & spoken English
  • Good command of MS Office programs
  • Reside in Izmit, Kocaeli
