KEY DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. UHPC  

 

(50% weightage)

  • Target sales volume (in Metric Tons) and Revenue with clear cut margins expectations
  • Sales – existing potential customers
  • Business development with RMX & construction chemical companies
  • Key account management approach to keep the existing customers and increase business. Also try to find new potential customers and do the product trials.
  • Techno-commercial-marketing support to our customers, wherever required.

 

 

  1. PRECAST

 

(30% weightage)

 

  • Identify the key potential applications within PRECAST segment. Take a global reference and initiate business development in applications where we have positive TCO (total cost of ownership) and proven track record.
  • Target sales volume (in Metric Tons) and Revenue with clear cut margins expectations
  • Product trials with potential precasters in India based on guidance from Global segment manager
  • Techno-commercial-marketing support to our customers, wherever required.

 

 

  1. PlasMaRo

 

(20% weightage)

 

  • Masonry Reinforcement: Improve business relationship with identified local distributors inline with the guidance from Global Product marketing manager.
  • Sales target in terms of MC (Murfor Compact) pallets and revenue
  • Road Reinforcement: Closely working with Corporate strategy team to come up with market intelligence report as a first step towards this market.
  • Based on the market intelligence, we will try to explore local partners per region , who can help us to grow the business in India.
  • Techno-commercial-marketing support to our customers, wherever required.

 

 

 

 PROFILE REQUIREMENTS  

This role requires an ambitious professional, with a high drive for results, that is highly competent in gathering the relevant market and business information from multiple stakeholders, and that naturally combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach in driving actions resulting in profitable business growth for Bekaert.

 

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Administration is required. MBA is a plus. Equivalent proven technical or commercial experience may also be considered.
  • Engineer from construction Industry would be preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Industry experience in valued added business (not commodity selling).
  • Ability to think in a strategic way, a solution creator with an outside in mindset.
  • Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, customer need analysis, definition of value proposition, market positioning and financial analysis.
  • Competent in Prospecting , Business development via Networking.
  • Be a creative, innovative thinker, that naturally seeks multiple and novel approaches
  • Have a can-do attitude and focused on getting things done (result driven).
  • Being a self-starter and ability to work on their own,  high learning agility
  • Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills. Will work with team of Sales Managers, Application & Technology Managers, and international colleagues.
  • Hands on experience in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness and availability to travel PAN India with travel requirement minimum 50% of time.
