I. Roles and Responsibilities

Your Impact as Lab Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule lab activities, translate research goals into cast and test instructions, and monitor attendance and leave requests of lab operators.
• Ensure qualitative output by keeping test procedures and instructions up to date and making sure all activities comply with these standards.
• Maintain healthy stock levels of consumables, handle shipments to and from the Concrete Expertise Center (CEC) and ensure the constant quality of materials.
• Organize and track calibration and preventive maintenance of all equipment and oversee maintenance and repair work on lab infrastructure.
• Assist operators in resolving testing issues, maintain and implement test procedures, and check and upload test results into the lab database.
• Support safety and ergonomics improvement projects, maintain the MSDS database, promote safety awareness, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

II. Skills & Competencies

Essential skills & competencies
• Communication in English
• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 3  years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably with coordination experience.
• Experience with a construction company would be preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of laboratory operations and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
