ROLE

The Internal Sales & Logistics Representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be passionate about working with customers every day to ensure customer success, loyalty and growth.  This role will be responsible for managing positive customer relations, inquiries, orders, demand planning, inventory and the import and export of heating goods from our plants throughout the world.

 

This position is based in our Marietta, GA office.


JOB PROFILE

 

  • Work with customers to understand needs, make recommendations, and resolve challenges in a professional manner.
  • Process customer purchase orders, price quotations, deliveries, credit and inquiries timely.
  • Manage domestic, import and export of all goods.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team, Credit, and Shipping Departments to ensure a high level of service and on-time delivery to customers working with colleagues in the Netherlands, Romania and China.
  • Field inbound customer calls and inquiries, qualify and refer to responsible Sales Managers.
  • Set up new customers with Customer Master Data Team and forward applications and tax information to credit for approval.
  • Work closely with the Accounting department in Assen, NL to ensure new products are set up correctly in SAP, including pricing, specifications, product descriptions, product hierarchies, and weights.
  • Support demand planning process based on open orders and forecasts – maintain and adjust made to stock, made to order, and minimum stock levels.
  • Manage inventory to balance service and working capital targets.  
  • Generate sales and open order reports for Market Managers.
  • Responsible for shipping paperwork and receiving for all goods into SAP.
  • Organize and lead trade show registrations, booth assignment, special events and mailings.
  • Reports to Internal Sales & Logistics Supervisor.

 

REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Entry level inside sales/customer service role
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Strong math skills
  • Enthusiastic go-getter
  • Team player

 

PREFERRED

 

  • SAP experience for:
    • Sales/Order processing
    • Purchasing
    • Invoicing
    • Inventory management
  • Experience with (BI) business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of logistics for import/export preferred
