To strengthen the current growth, we are looking for a Market Manager N.A.

Reports to the Commercial General Manager, Bekaert Combustion Technology (BCT) US, the Market Manager will function as a selling resource and provide sales and technical leadership in the development and growth of our heating and combustion solutions to Bekaert’s identified clients and prospects.  This role will be responsible for the Southeast Region (GA, TN, SC, NC, FL, AL, MS, AR, LA)

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Selling and servicing key executives within their assigned accounts to drive product revenue and margin results
  • Provides customer support on Bekaert’s entire heating and combustion product offerings
  • Prospect new accounts and new markets
  • Support strategic marketing efforts which includes basic research, market studies, import analysis and macroeconomic trends
  • Works with their North American & Global leadership to develop annual volume and growth objectives for assigned & target accounts
  • Manage OEM account(s) in conjunction with North American team
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering organization to provide feedback for product and feature enhancements and customer requirements
  • Establish and sustain relationships within Bekaert to include the following internal teams:
  • Inside Sales & Logistics Team
  • Product Management
  • Price Administration
  • R&D
  • Marketing Communication
  • Support Americas heating team with digital marketing platform needs and CRM support.

 

Day-to-Day Overview:

  • 40% Working on existing business
  • 40% Prospecting
  • 10% Marketing analysis
  • 10% Marketing communications
  • Willingness to travel upwards of 30%
  • Occasional International travel

 

Skills and competencies

 

  • 5-10 years sales experience with commercial and industrial OEMs
  • Enjoy developing new business, hunter mentality
  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing or Engineering) or a related technical degree is essential
  • HVAC/R or mechanical background preferred, must show technical aptitude
  • Must have great fortitude and demonstrate persistence and a winning attitude
  • Highly capable of relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
  • Very strong computer skills, experienced in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks
