About the role

Your Impact as Sales Manager, Hose Solution

To build long-lasting relationships with his/her Account(s) by positioning themselves as a dedicated resource for key accounts, committed to helping them solve their problems, realize their business goals, and achieve success.

Leverage the relationship to ensure sustainable added value to the Accounts as well as Bekaert (in terms of top-line & bottom-line)

 

Sales account manager has full accountability of his/ her Account(s) and is in charge of developing long-term strategy for the account and orchestrating its execution by coordinating actions across departments and regions.

  • Ensure full account transparency by gathering customer and competitor intelligence data as inputs for understanding strategic intent of the Account and its key priorities and business goals.
  • Develop the strategy, resulting business plan and orchestrate the execution
  • Leverage value creation/capturing opportunities
  • Develop deep relationships, trust and gravitas at all levels of the organization internally and externally within the Account organization

 

About You

Essential skills & competencies

  • BA/BS degree (preferably Engineering, Metalurgy, and/or Marketing)
  • Minimum of 5 years proven business development and/or sales experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel upwards of 50% throughout assigned region of North America
  • Market research expertise: customer & market trends, market sizing, competition
  • Strong interpersonal skills, continuously reaching out to a broad range of functions and levels at other companies in the value chain
  • Contextual interviewing / active listening
  • Strong narrative and presentation skills, ability to generate enthusiasm amongst prospects
  • Comfortable in managing ambiguity and able in handling rejection
  • Continuously learning and exploring alternative options, routes and sources to resolve problems, avoids jumping to conclusions
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independent, able to determine own direction
