About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, experienced rope services technician to play a key role in expanding our advanced rope services footprint through the deployment of high technology rope inspection equipment.
This is more than a rope inspection role — it’s an opportunity to identify market opportunities, deploy leading-edge inspection solutions, and create real commercial impact in our advanced services business. You’ll work closely with our sales team, commercial manager and global advanced services team to turn opportunities into sustainable revenue.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:

- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customers
- Deploy leading-edge rope inspection solutions to provide customers with the most comprehensive rope condition analysis in the market
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (services, sales, engineering) to develop value‑driven solutions to customer needs
- Perform routine rope inspection and reporting work in-house and on-site to support existing customer needs
- Utilise your experience in rope inspection methods to develop innovative solutions to support customer needs
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
What We're Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring:

- Proven experience in rope inspection as a Level 2 NDE technician or higher, preferably across multiple sectors (eg: mining, C&I, O&G)
- A strong understanding of the methods of rope deterioration and their assessment against the relevant standards and discard criteria
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other software (eg: NDT equipment) to analyse rope condition and compile reports
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions
- A desire to provide customers with leading-edge solutions to their rope inspection needs
Qualifications and Education
Rigging and dogging qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
This role will be based at our Newcastle, NSW facility but will require regular travel to customer site locations both local and interstate, sometimes at short notice.
