About the role

 

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Partner Americas to join the team in the construction industry. The Talent Acquisition Partner Americas will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and recruiting top talent for Bekaert across the Americas region. This role reports to the HUB Talent Acquisiton Manager Americas who is located in the U.S.. The Talent Acquisition Partner Americas role will be in Mexico City, Mexico and is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in office.

 

The role of Talent Acquisition Partner Americas is responsible for the execution of the recruitment process of highly skilled employees in the Unites States, Mexico, Chile, and Peru, with clear ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process from creation of the requisition to contracting of candidates. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Americas team, the role also supports cross-region selection process, facilitating candidates sourcing activities in Americas through multiple channels and techniques, to maximize the candidate inflow and pipeline.

 

The Talent Acquisition Partner Americas will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The role will proactively source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks. Additionally, the role will lead interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and external partners will be crucial in ensuring a smooth recruitment process and successful candidate placements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and align recruitment efforts.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen applications and resumes to identify potential candidates for further assessment.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners.
  • Coordinate and participate in career events, job fairs, and other recruitment activities.
  • Guarantees a smooth, efficient, and legally compliant selection process in each step of the process, from CV-screening, selection interviews, background check, testing, assessment tools, etc. thereby facilitating the
  • Hiring Manager and HR BP on the final decision – with specific focus on White Collar / technical / expert population.
  • Ensures sufficient pipeline of applicants in the whole Americas region through effective employer branding initiatives, ambassador networks and applicable sourcing channels, including schools, universities, and other local sources – aligned with the respective Hub TA manager.
  • Is responsible to operationally manage external sourcing and selection options that could be offered to the hiring manager, following clear and logical decision criteria (e.g. temp agencies, executive search, etc.)
  • Prepares the salary package and ensures contract preparations and signatures according to local authority schedule.
  • Is responsible for Employee pre-boarding activities before Day-1
  • Ensures accurate local record keeping by entering & maintaining all applicant and interview data in the appropriate HR systems and delivers key reporting.
  • Is actively involved in HR local projects in Recruitment and can be involved in various internal selection activities in the context of larger organizational changes, talent program participation, etc.

 

About You

Essential skills & competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Spanish and English written and verbal fluency required and will be assessed.
  • Ability to present and meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of best practices in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
