Key Account & Market Manager

 

Your profile

 

  • You manage the sales process through frequent and close customer contact from needs analysis, proposals and price setting over negotiations towards closing the deal and facilitating credit control.
  • You focus on customers; connect with the right decision makers in order to build customer relationships, build customers’ trust and respect while being able to challenge.
  • You advance the business through prospect and lead management.
  • You build deep insights in the related market, customers, products and applications.
  • You provide monthly forecasting and reporting and manage the budget.
  • You work closely together with Inside Sales, Internal Sales and Sales Management within an agreed internal framework related to lead and customer management.
  • You collect data from different sources on own market (industry, competition, future trends), on customers, on vision and strategy of own company business.
  • You integrate data considering major elements, making sound decisions.
  • You seek for understanding of the customer needs for existing and potential customers. Convert opportunities into new business following a structured roadmap.
  • You apply a value selling approach.

 

Your role

 

  • You have +/- 5 years of experience in sales (complex sales)
  • You show business acumen and excel in relationship management.
  • You have experience in business development. 
  • You feel comfortable in value selling & negotiation.
  • You are a team player and communicate, connect and collaborate well with colleagues and other departments.
  • You can represent the customer while doing what is best for Bekaert.
  • You have a strong interest in the automotive industry (a background in the automotive industry is an added value)
  • You have the appropriate insights on technology, products, applications, systems and tools
  • You speak the related language skills (speaking fluently the language(s) of the assigned customers if appropriate).
  • You are willing to travel within Europe (50%)
