Management of Bekaert’s Orrville, OH plant Supply Chain. Will strongly contribute to the optimization of the ROCE of the plant and ensure there is balance between service, cost, and cash with correct prioritzation in line with the overall business strategy. Experience in working out and supply chain environmental, social and economic sustainability. This role offers the opportunity for the incumbent to become the subject matter expert for the Orrville, OH plant within Supply Chain, and he or she will continue to build and maintain an efficient and effective supply chain function for the region. This position reports to the General Manager and will be based at our Orrville, OH Plant location.


Job-Related Functions:


  • Responsible for the management of the service, cost, and cash balance. Must be committed to create value to our customer(s) by providing high level of delivery service.

  • work out of the long-term winning business portfolio ambition and translation to demand for the Orrville plant
  • Responsible for supply chain service management
  • implement approach for translation of market/customer segmentation to supply chain implications
  • Support demand management
  • capture X+5 ambition from the region
  • Translate market and customer segmentation (BCE) to supply chain implications while also building and maintaining supply chain service catalogue.
  • support defining required supply chain services by customer group based on sales customer segmentation (sales/marketing responsible)
  • support target setting (business responsible)
  • monitor performance of the defined services, analyze gaps, set up action plans, follow up implementation
  • Responsible S&OP – (Profit) Sales and Operations Planning
  • Demand management
  • Supply/replenishment mechanism
  • Allocation of demand to supply capacity
  • Make sure that S&OE process is established and working in each plant with processes, reports, and weekly meetings in place.
  • Works very closely together with leader of the Planning department in the plant and in cooperation with the Plant Manager to ensure detailed processes are in place
  • Works very closely with the Head of Marketing Operations (Customer Service) regarding all Supply Chain related areas.

Essential Skills & Competencies



  • Supply chain or Operations (e.g. BMS) or Customer Service experience
  • Is already recognized as a leader
  • > 5 years relevant work experience
  • Preferably Supply chain - APICS certification
  • Has impact and credibility
  • University Degree (business administration) or equivalent through experience
  • Good level of English (writing, reading, speaking and listening)


Process knowledge

  • Understanding of all supply chain processes and deep knowledge of strategical and tactical supply chain processes
  • Understanding of company planning processes: sales, financial planning, etc.
