Purpose and Mission

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Digital Corporate Channels to lead and elevate Bekaert’s corporate digital presence across external and internal platforms. In this strategic and hands‑on role, you will strengthen our global brand and reputation, shape digital communication strategies, and collaborate across the organization to ensure our channels are impactful, user‑centric, and insight‑driven.

You will partner closely with Group Communications, Business Units, Investor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Sustainability, and IT/ADS teams to drive meaningful engagement through our website, social media channels, and corporate digital ecosystem.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

 

Digital Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute the corporate digital communication strategy aligned with business and brand objectives.
  • Lead the strategic direction and management of the corporate website, corporate social media channels, and mobile applications.
  • Shape the vision for the corporate website’s role within the broader digital ecosystem.
  • Partner with ADS to ensure strong information architecture, SEO, UX, and technical performance.
  • Drive optimization of navigation, templates, layouts, and content formats across channels.
  • Develop digital outreach strategies for multiple stakeholder groups to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and reputation.
  • Provide strategic digital communication guidance to Business Units and proactively support internal communications teams.

Social Media Strategy & Governance

  • Define and implement strategies to strengthen Bekaert’s presence across social media platforms.
  • Oversee and safeguard brand consistency across corporate and affiliate channels.
  • Own and maintain Bekaert’s Social Media Guidelines; deliver training and advisory support to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor engagement and manage responses to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.

Performance & Analytics

  • Track and analyze digital performance metrics to generate actionable insights.
  • Optimize website and social content for traffic, engagement, SEO visibility, and user experience using GAIO, LinkedIn Insights, A/B testing, and more.
  • Manage corporate digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads).
  • Coordinate cross‑functional digital initiatives with Business Units and ADS (IT).

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with global digital communication and marketing trends, tools, and innovations.
  • Translate market insights into strategic opportunities to strengthen Bekaert’s digital presence.
  • Build alignment and drive execution of new initiatives that enhance content performance and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

 

  • 8+ years of strategic and hands‑on experience in digital communications or digital marketing, ideally in a global corporate environment.
  • Expertise across SEO/SEA/SEM, GAIO (Generative AI Optimization), web mastering, CMS (e.g., AEM), UX fundamentals and automation flows.
  • Strong experience managing social media channels at scale.
  • Analytical, data‑driven mindset with the ability to convert insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management capability and familiarity with content calendar/roadmap tools.
  • Positive, proactive, and results‑driven mindset with adaptability to changing environments.
  • Experience managing external agencies.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to bring forward innovative ideas while aligning with corporate guidelines and business priorities.
  • A strong team player with a collaborative approach.
