About the role

You are responsible for the practical planning, coordination, communication, implementation and follow up of global learning programs and portfolio as well as the academies’ portfolio, in alignment with the L&D strategy and global compliance needs. 


About the Role: On Contract for 1 year.

Your Impact as ‘Global Learning and development Operations Specialist’:

  • You act as a designated key user and subject matter expert (SME) who trains the local L&D specialists and hub L&D team leaders on L&D processes and tools.
  • Operationally you deliver the existing global learning and development initiatives (e.g., global development calendar, leadership programs, global mandatory trainings…)
  • You communicate effectively on learning and development initiatives to the various stakeholders (global technical trainers, employees, HR Business Partners, line managers, authorities,)
  • You oversee and plan/schedule the overall coordination of learning and development activities which may include the sourcing of trainers, guest speakers, educational consultants, as requested by internal customers (supplier management)
  • You build and maintain relationships with reputable external learning suppliers (coaches, trainers, speakers,)
  • You ensure compliance with the global L&D policies and procedures, quality standards and audit requirements.
  • You define corrective actions for the HR KPI metrics and provide proof of effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
  • You organize venues, RSVP’s, catering, training material and equipment and keep stakeholders well informed, ensuring correct allocation of training costs and assist with purchase orders.
  • You participate in Group HR projects in the area of learning and development (new 360° tool, leadership programs, …) based on identified development needs in the business and implement worldwide.
  • You provide ideas on synergies between the different locations cross-hubs to ensure operational excellence and cost optimization.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

  • You have a master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Law, economics or similar.
  • 5+ year of experience (preferred in L&D Operations)
  • Experience in industrial/production environment is a plus.
  • Communication should be fluent.
  • English is a must.
