ROLE PURPOSE: is leading a team in a designated hub (Europe and South Asia) which is responsible for the practical planning, coordination, communication, implementation and follow up of learning and development initiatives based on the local and regional business needs and in alignment with the L&D strategy and local labor law and compliance needs.

ROLE CONTENTS & DELIVERABLES: 

 

Steer a team of Local L&D Specialists in a designated hub to create cross boarder alignment and synergies to reach operational excellence and continuously control and optimize learning cost expenditure
Provide an inspiring and engaging leadership to an international team of 8+ direct reports in the designated hub
Be the ambassador to foster one standard way of working within the designated hub in alignment with the L&D strategy, processes and tools
Act as a designated key user and subject matter expert (SME) who trains the local L&D specialists on L&D processes and tools
Coordinate the delivery of the operational part of Group wide development programs (leadership programs, talent programs, graduate programs…) in the designated hub
Ensure compliance with the global L&D policies and procedures, quality standards and audit requirements
Define corrective actions for the HR KPI metrics and provide proof of effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement
Part of the core team L&D Operations and co-develop processes and tools towards learning administration operational excellence
Participate in Group HR projects in the area of learning and development (new 360° tool, leadership programs, …) based on identified development needs in the business and implement in the designated hub
Be the L&D Specialist for at least one location or country in the designated hub
 
SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
·Responsibility: Operational delivery of learning activities to the regional hub population of 10K+ employees
·Direct reports: 8+
·Indirect reports: Depending on projects
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
·Education level: Master degree in HR, Psychology, Law, Economics or similar
·Working experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in learning and development activities on an international managerial level, preferably in an industrial / production          environment – 10+ years of total experience
