About the role

Your Impact as Solution Architect:

As a Solution Architect (Intelligent Automation) across enterprise, you shall be responsible for the identification, design and implementation of technologies that support and enable cognitive intelligent automation solutions. You will collaborate with concerned teams to design and develop intelligent automation solutions that provide the agility, reliability, efficiency and gain new capabilities leading to best-in-class customer experience.  

Main Responsibilities of Solution Architect – Intelligent Automation are: 

• Subject matter expert for technologies that provide intelligent automation capabilities; stay updated on evolving trends in the intelligent automation industry. 

• Research, evaluate, design, and implement automation solutions utilizing advanced technologies that meet or exceed business requirements. 

• Creating and maintaining high quality solution design documentation that adheres to the Cognitive Automation, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) delivery methodology in accordance with standard design principles, conventions, and best practices.  

• Recommend and implement technology standards and best practices, including CI/CD, for developing and maintaining automation solutions. 

• Meticulously analysing Process Definition Documents to capture all the business process steps in solution designs and consider accompanying factors such as recoverability, scalability, resilience, and case management to ensure solution designs meet all requirements. 

• Working and communicating with various parts of the business to define detailed and exact requirements required for solution design.   

• Considering additional factors such as license utilization, local data preservation and security policies when designing automation solutions. 

• Presenting and explaining solution design decisions and justifications in design walkthrough sessions with senior stakeholders, developers, and IT representatives. 

• Provide architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company’s delivery teams. 

• Provide technical leadership and guidance for Intelligent Automation-based solutions from early phase analysis and strategy through design, code, test, and implementation. 

• Serve as a liaison between architecture, business customers, solution development, project managers, network infrastructure, server engineering, and support teams. 

• Work closely with appropriate teams and vendors to provide the technical bridge that ensures impact, risk, and value are properly understood by stakeholders. 

• Coordinate project teams to ensure approved solutions architecture and design are understood and followed; evaluate and make recommendations for change requests. 

• Determine gaps between business requirements and product functionalities and define workable solutions to bridge the gaps. 

• Designing and maintaining solution architecture and technical roadmaps for intelligent automation capabilities using an effective, agile approach. Manages multiple engagements and priorities autonomously and in parallel. 

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Education, Skills & Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience 

• 12+ years of overall experience, 6+ years into solution architecture with a deep knowledge in Cognitive Automation, Robotic Process Automation, Digtial Signatures 

• Adept at process assessments for end-to-end process automation and understands applications of intelligent automation in different business domains. 

• Demonstrated Ability to design and maintaining solution architecture and technical roadmaps for intelligent automation capabilities using an effective, agile approach. 

• Expertise in at least one of market leading RPA platforms such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, UI Path and deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts  

• Good understanding of security best practices including OAuth2, SAML protocols and various aspects of data security. 

• Solid fundamentals with hands-on experience with Javascript, C#, Java, Winbatch and with exposure to Python. 

• Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, databases (Oracle/MS SQL/Mongo) and technology stacks. 

• Exposure to the public cloud (Azure) – preferably architectural experience using cloud-based constructs.
