This position has versatile role and domains to be handled, as the candidate will be responsible for supporting in FTOM project working with senior VPs within and outside of SWS. The role will also involve interaction with all the regional finance directors as well. This will be an added responsibility for which candidate is expected to spend 50% of his time in addition to supporting Global FP&A activities for SWS business. 

The Candidate should have leadership & will have to work with other members in the team. The Candidate has to be team player and self-starter too as the position needs working in cross functional teams to resolve issues having impact on multiple functions. The Candidate should also be able to handle the Projects & its management independently, while maintaining Confidentiality of the Project wherever required.

Main Accountabilities

Nature of the Activities


SWS LATAM + Global – FP&A Support



  1. Support the Financial Business Partner and regional VP with providing financial metrics to the LATAM South region
  2. Ensures the timely execution of reports with data integrity in collaboration with SWS finance leadership team
  3. Provide analysis and insights, consistency checks, quantifying drivers, identifying trends
  4. Understand the build-up of the figures and be ready to concisely reply on questions; drive corrective actions when needed
  5. Interface with key stakeholders at LATAM South regional level and BU/FU level to understand needs and drive further development of reports, analysis and insights. 
  6. Global financial modeling on ST (3 years) & LT (5 years) planning exercises including actual reporting based on certain assumptions
  7. Drive key planning cycles (X+5, X+1, Ques) by defining BU reporting timelines, performing the global consolidation and outlining the key management themes, drivers, risk and opportunities (nearly full time during the reporting periods), providing insights such as bridge analysis on sales, EBIT-U, CCC, SG&A and provide first level of commentary
  8. Support in providing the insights on reporting by sector and distribution channel (industrial segment reporting)
  9. Support in monthly activities and assist team in filling of various global FPA templates with proposed first level of commentary
  10. Support in handling various initiatives and projects such as FP&A tool selection (SAC planning implementation), Support in Central finance, QMS activities, setting up of new reporting from new tool
  11. Drive reporting requirements of SWS BU and define the scope of automation on new reporting platform
  12. Training demands to be fulfilled for all regions and define the scope for each region in case of new tool implemented
  13. Support in business cases, scenario planning or specific project reporting
  14. Ad hoc financial analysis



Educational Qualifications :    
-  Bachelor degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance or related field.
-  Professional qualification as PGPM


Technical Skills :
-  Expert knowledge of all Bekaert systems BFC, Power BI and other reporting tools
-  Knowledge and understanding of operations of accounting & financial function is essential.
-  Software knowledge – Expert in MS Excel, Word & Power point.
