Job Responsibilties

• Handle Steel Tyre cord and Beadwire business used for reinforcement in Radial tyres for South Asia

• End to end sales responsibility of all Tyre customers in South Asia region

• Responsible to deliver sales volume, value and margin in line with the business plans.

• Establish robust plan, do, review processes with the team to ensure delivery and learning on all targets utilizing Key Account Management and Professional Selling principles and tools.

• Negotiate along with GAMs and respective Regional Directors for multi-location customers for respective regions.

• Work in partnership with the supplying plants/SCM to maximize customer service levels and delivery of forecasts

• Work in partnership with technology/GAM to develop and implement proposals/projects/products to ensure retention and growth in customer share.

• Develop clear marketing plans to grow and defend market shares in South Asia

• Establish timely business development plans for growth opportunities in South Asia

• Develop marketing plans in conjunction with and share information with the global team

• Maintain excellent market intelligence covering South Asia to enable the correct long term strategic and short term tactical business decisions

• Build and maintain Bekaert’s leading image within the industry and ensure active participation in relevant associations and events


Key skills required:

    • MBA [Sales & Marketing] from Tier-I, II institutes,  with a minimum 16 years of work experience
    • Team handling experience is must
    • Good stakeholder management, learning agibilty, resilence skills along with Market Knowledge
    • Analytical with proven capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Strong team player
    • Work experience with global and multicultural organisation is a must
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Fluent in English.
    • Experience in the rubber related or composite reinforcement industry would be a plus
    • Able to travel
