About the role

 Your Impact as Structural Engineer

As structural engineer your role would include daily precast design activities, ensuring technical excellence and timely support. Your contributions will streamline our go-to-market strategy and strengthen our market position through enhanced quality and responsiveness in our technical services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze and design Dramix® Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) structural elements, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Develop and validate Finite Element Models (FEM) using advanced FEA software for precise structural analysis.
• Perform manual calculations to complement and verify software-based structural analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance the technical feasibility of SFRC structural solutions.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and documentation to support project deliverables.
• Utilize Excel for creating, modifying, and managing engineering calculations, data analysis, and reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on the application of SFRC in precast structural and non-structural elements such as façades.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to explore SFRC solution feasibility.
• Participate actively in design reviews and project meetings to align on technical and project objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest standards and advancements in software to maintain technical excellence.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field with min. 2 years of experience in structural design, particularly in traditional/prestressed/post-tensioned reinforced concrete structures. Precast design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Finite Element (FE) modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of EN, ASTM, ACI standards.
• Excellent knowledge of testing methods for precast elements, such as pipes, box culverts, water tanks, etc.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and hand calculations methods for structural elements. Advanced skills in CAD software.
• Experience with Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete is a plus.

• Proficient in Excel for performing and managing engineering calculations effectively.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively.
