Purpose of the Job -

This controller role will support the Wire business HICA thru a period of growth mainly on budgeting costing reporting and financial analysis. The position will require developing a good understanding of manufacturing processes and will involve working closely with plant functional teams to drive better performance. The role will focus on


- Support of Startup Activity

- Business Financial Analysis & Reporting

- Costing & Margin Management

- SWS Plant controlling

Responsibilities - 

A) Controlling :   
1)    Effective support to Controlling function for SWS
2)    Working Capital follow up and Control – Wire rod and receivable ageing analysis & follow up with Marketing and Sales
3)    Inventory Valuation every month and Inventory Control
4)    Ensuring the correctness of the PC & CC bookings in SAP as well correctness of account groupings (valuation class)
5)    CAPEX follow-up and compliance with CAPEX procedure.
6)    Capex Budget preparation for expansion projects, on-going requirements, IT etc. Creation & updation of position IDs in IM module of SAP based on X+1 (Budget) and Approved CAR, Monthly Capex Follow up – Budget vs. Actual, Quarterly revised estimates for Capex (QUES)
7)    Maintaining CAR (Capital Appropriation Request) details –Hard copies as well as in IM module of SAP
8)    Creation of Internal Orders for approved CAR, allocation of budget to internal orders and updating the same in IM module of SAP
9)    Fixed Asset Control (CWIP follow up, Creation of FA, Transfer of CWIP to FA, Tagging of FA & Physical verification, Investment Analysis)
10)    Ensuring timely capitalization of fixed assets as per Indian GAAP as well as IFRS. 

B) Support Startup Activity :
1)    Build or support business justifications with financial analysis for new business/ new flows (Agri/other ISW) 
2)     Establish Bekaert procedures (reporting,capex,costing, inventory management etc) in new business/new flows

C) Business Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Reporting :

1)    Preparation of Budgets, forecasts (X+1, X+3 and Quarterly new estimates)
2)    Preparation of Monthly Sales report
3)    Monthly Reporting of Budget vs. Actual 
4)    Monthly analysis and review of  Financials & Operational Data with Plant management and BU controller
5)    Preparation and use of dashboards,  Operational analysis, historical analysis to support decision making and business review
6)    Quarterly reporting to Group control.
7)    Project monitoring and reporting of actual Capex v/s budget.
8)    Provide details of Capital Work in progress.
9)    SGA Expenses reporting & Control.
10)    Location wise Expenses, Overdue and DSO reporting to regional Manager of BP.
11)    Checking Physical Inventory vs SAP Inventory and Post manual Adjustment to reconcile the same.
12)    Adaptation of additional reports as per requirement of Group control.
13)    Providing information to BU or Corporate Control as may be required.
14)    Identify provision requirements and ensure their booking by FSC

D) Costing and Margin Management :

1)    Develop & improve standard costing system, providing costing estimates & provide pricing guidance to Marketing 
2)    Lead cost control programs and tracking.
3)    Prepare a standard costing format and review regularly
4)    Prepare Quotation Price for M&S to support Margin management.
5)    Monthly Review and updation of Cost prices 
6)    Close Monitoring of SGE and action for improvement.
7)    Valuation of closing stock of WIP & finished goods.
8)    Prepare the related costing details from SAP and update the same data for calculation of product prices for X+1, Revised Estimate and Statutory audit. 

E) Internal Controls & Audit support :
1)    Regular periodical review and checking with Sales & CSC, HR, Purchase, Finance
2)    Internal control checks for SAP ID sharing, critical combination removal/justification, critical combination check for new transaction/ID
3)    Statutory Audit support for SWS Plant
a)    Comparison of actual cost of FG with net realizable value and make necessary adjustments in financials.
b)    Liaise with Auditors for Inventory related queries.
c)    Liaise Auditors for Fixed Asset related queries.
d)    Other queries

F) Miscellaneous :
1)    Check control on commission received in direct sales from other plants 
2)    Prepare departmental budgets for overheads (M&S, SCM, R&D) & plant common departments (HR, Purchase, EHS, IT-Infra, Infra & Utility, Indirect tax), quarterly review and follow-up vs. budget with respective departments highlighting overruns


Essential Skills - 

- 4+ years work experience ideally in similar roles
- Working knowledge of SAP (FICO, MM, SD) and financial reporting system
- Excellent MS Office Excel skills (nice to have PowerPivot, Power-BI)
