Business Partnering

▪ Work closely together (leading, supporting & challenging) with other functions to optimize the operational performance of the plant & contribute to the value creation of the BU

▪ Provide updates on the Plant’s performance highlighting risks and opportunities and supporting fact-based and agile decision making.

▪ Ensure reliable financial information, timeliness, accuracy, completeness of plant level financial data (Capex, Cost Center, Internal Orders)                                                                

Standard Costing

▪ Manage plant standard product costs to allow for reliable margin reporting and correct inventory valuation.

▪ Ensure completeness, correctness and consistency of standard cost related master data in financial systems/SAP

▪ Make sure standard cost can be well used in the business decision making.                                                                  

Cost and Working Capital Management

▪ Identify and define cost drivers, cost avoidance, savings opportunities

▪ Plan, track and control costs vs budget, review movements with owners

▪ Optimize Working Capital (with focus on inventory management).                                                                 

Budgeting and Forecasting

▪ Co-ordinate necessary data to prepare X+1 and X+5 financial plans;

▪ Manage quarterly estimates (12 months financial forecast) and required mid-month forecasts, discuss variances;

▪ Challenge, drive the key drivers improvement along the financial planning process together with related functions.                                                             

Capital Expenditure

▪ Manage capital acquisition requests, evaluate investment requests

▪ Participate in plant level investment case reviews to ensure costs are accurately identified, capitalised and depreciated

▪ Project capex follow-up  with the plant team and ensure no budget overrun, provide timely updates and review capex with project team    

 

Education and experience requirement
• Bachelor degree or above (master as a plus), finance or business relevant background;                                                                                                                                                                              • 2-3 years of working experience with manufacturing set-up (MNC experience is preferred) with ambition to grow as a local management team member
• Strong business acumen;
• Strong motivation & learning capability;
• Strong logical, analytical & statistical skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ability to interpret financial KPIs & impacts to management team and various non-finance functions across the organization;
• Dare to take constructive conflicts, proper communication;
• Fluent in financial professional English (oral/written, comprehension speaking), review with BU or top management team;
• Proficient knowledge of MS software, PowerBi or equivalent skill, good presentations skills;
• Professional in SAP experience
