Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating the movement of supplies, products, and merchandise into and out of the warehouse.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: monitor stock levels, track inventory movement and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Coordination: coordinate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams for timely deliveries, coordinate picking, packing and shipping activities.

  • Team Leadership: manage and supervise warehouse staff.

  • Safety & Compliance: maintain safety and security standards within the warehouse, conduct regular safety audits, train warehouse staff.

Skills

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications (MS Office suit).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management system technology.
  • Organizing and planning skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Previous Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a similar role.
