Purpose and Mission
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the HR agenda for the RR (Rubber Reinforcement) Business Unit across EMEA and act as a strategic HR partner for our Global RR Commercial organization. This role combines regional strategic ownership, global commercial exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to operational and organizational transformation across a complex industrial and commercial environment.
This is a high‑impact role where you will influence the organizational direction, shape leadership capability, and partner closely with senior leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Commercial teams. The role reports directly to the VP HR Rubber Reinforcement (RR).
Key Activities and Responsibilities
1. Regional HR Business Partner – RR BU EMEA
Act as a trusted advisor to RR senior leadership and drive the HR strategy across all EMEA sites.
- Driving organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, and leadership capability aligned with business and commercial priorities.
- Leading HR strategy to support regional footprint optimization, plant structure evolution, workforce transitions, and capability alignment.
- Acting as a core HR leader in the RRAIZE plant optimization program, supporting culture and change adoption.
- Building leadership capability, including strengthening commercial mindset and P&L understanding among Plant Managers.
- Leading succession planning and talent development efforts to build a robust leadership pipeline.
2. Global Commercial HR Business Partner (RR)
Serve as the HR partner to the Global Commercial RR organization, providing strategic HR insights to support the evolution of the commercial model.
- Support global commercial organizational design and ensure efficiency, clarity of roles, and global–regional alignment.
- Strengthen collaboration between Global and Regional Account Managers through governance, shared objectives, and best‑practice exchange.
- Build career development pathways within Global Account Management and strengthen succession for key commercial roles.
- Reinforce collaboration with Global Account Engineering to enable cross-functional mobility and customer‑focused expertise.
- Promote adoption of digital and AI‑driven tools to improve commercial decision‑making and operational efficiency.
3. Functional HR Business Partner – EMEA Functions
Partner with EMEA functional leaders (e.g., IT, Procurement) to drive organizational effectiveness and capability.
- Align functional talent strategies with business priorities.
- Support organizational design and leadership development.
- Strengthen integration between functional and business teams.
4. Build HR Capability Across EMEA
Play a key leadership role in shaping a high-performing HR community across regions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HRBP team across EMEA.
- Promote collaboration and best-practice sharing across countries, plants, and functions.
- Elevate HR’s strategic impact by enabling HRBPs as trusted business partners.
Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
- Deep HR Business Partnering experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong background in organizational design, restructuring, and footprint optimization.
- Project and change management expertise across multi‑country operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience with commercial or sales organizations is a strong advantage.
Leadership & Behavioral Competencies
- Strategic HR partnering capability — able to translate business strategy into people strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L drivers.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment and work across cultures (especially Europe–Asia).
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing HR teams.
- Digital mindset and openness to AI‑enabled HR tools.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English required.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
