ROLE PURPOSE: As HR business partner to the Local Managers, drives proactively all people management matters within the respective location or business area, and promotes initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the Location and respective function performance - acting as catalyst to create a sustainable Leadership which promotes the learning organisation philosophy through coaching, feedback and continuous development.

 

Your role:

 

  • Drives proactively all people management matters within the respective location or business area
  • Promotes initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the Location and respective function performance
  • Is responsible for delivering top quality HR Business Partner services to local managers and team leaders
  • Steers the local talent agenda (performance management, succession planning, talent management, competence management)
  • Drives the organisation engagement in a location or local business area (e.g. Engagement Survey, Well-being activities)
  • Supports local organizational design initiatives
  • Acts as catalyst to create a sustainable Leadership which promotes the learning organisation philosophy through coaching, feedback and continuous development
  • Acts as an employer representative in official bodies, audits and local negotiation
  • Is an expert in employment law related matters, including individual and collective terminations, collective labour agreements negotiation and other local labour law matters, and executes disciplinary measures
  • Ensures that the Bekaert Values are taken into account at all times when people related decisions are taken, and is a point of reference for maintain the highest ethical standards
  • Participates in local projects with a location or local business area focus

 

Your profile:

 

  • Degree in HR, Psychology, Economics or a related field
  • Mastery of English and Slovak languages at business level
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple processes at the same time

 

We offer:

 

  • Basic salary for junior profiles starting from 2 400 EUR, for senior candidates with track of solid experiences starting from 3 000 EUR and more depending on the experiences of the candidate
  • 15% variable pay from the annual base salary based on performance paid as a onetime bonus
  • Company car also for private purpose
