About the role

Your Impact as Sustainability & SHE Engineer

• Provide advice and consultation for the company  to assist in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
• Participate in various process safety studies/activities, such as: incident investigations, compliance reviews. Participate in or lead risk studies or conduct consequence analyses.
• Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses.
• Coordinate, monitor and execute new employee occupational health, safety and environmental orientation.
• Assist management with monitoring adherence to department safety and environmental programs by employees and contractors.
• Collaborates with transversal teams to establish and monitor performance indicators for sustainability projects.
• Coordinate, monitor, and report actions related to the sustainability data (water, energy, wastes, CO2).
• Coordinates the execution of extended responsibilities of the company towards customers, employees and interested parties for products distributed.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• You hold a university degree Engineering (technical engineering)
• Relevant work experience (min 3 years) in industrial environment
• Problem solving methods and analytical/statistical skills for continuous improvement are a clear strength.
• You’re a dynamic and energetic person with a positive mindset and the ability to cooperate with team members and stakeholders.
• You are a results-oriented team player.
• You’re eager to learn about new technologies and new processes.
• You have a good knowledge of English
