Purpose of the Job

-    To strengthen the market-in approach of Bekaert in Japan to support sustainable profitable growth
-    To achieve the sales targets X+1 for RR and complete the company’s requirement.
-    To take effective actions to meet customer needs through actively collecting feedback from customers to improve service.
-    To develop and maintain effective long-term relationship with customers.
-    To seek for business opportunities in the market and bring values to the company.
-    To support Global Account Manager (GAM) to execute the account plans


Your Role
Achieve own X+1 & Support Senior M&S manager
-    Visits the customers on a regular basis and builds up personal relationships and ensure CRM under the guidance of M&S mgr. RR Japan
-    Closely work with related GAMs to follow up volume realization and takes pro-actions to increase the sales whenever needed
-    Conduct profit improvement by looking at all of the specs (sales price, product, logistics and others)  

Provide strong technical and sales service to support customers globally and work closely with related GAMs to achieve sales target    
-    Provide regular and on-time technical and sales service to customers. 
-    Work closely to regional account managers & technical managers to deliver the customers requirements
-    Closely work with related GAMs & KAE to follow up the new product development & customer needs
-    Performance indicators: new products development & commercialization every year (Globally)"    

Achieve results based on actions as defined in Score Card of TC Asia
-    Gains an in-depth understanding on the key people in the customer’s organization, their roles, mutual interactions and their position versus Bekaert
-    Recommends and implements defined actions to support X+1 critical goals and X+5 ambition of own global accounts & TC Asia

Monitor our competitive position at customer side
-    Knows the competitive moves, strategy and capabilities of our competition at the customer
-    Proactive positioning to prevent the penetration of competitors to the customer

Understand future direction and value chain of customers. Translate Voice of Customer into Voice of Business. Knows the customer mid-term and long-term plans. Work together with GAM to define the needs of the customers and deploy the needs into Bekaert organization.
-    Offers input for X+1 and X+5 planning (for Japan)
-    Gap analysis between customers need and Bekaert's resources (globally)
-    Identifies the elements for the value proposition to the customer (Cooperation, joint-projects, learning stops, unique selling proposition and others....)
-    Recommend inputs to Sr. Sales & Service Manager International Accounts how to communicate value to the customers
-    Fulfill the basic needs of the customer on product-service-delivery (globally)

Support customer transplants in overseas technically & commercially    
-    Liaise between customer HQ and their transplants in order to support local Bekaert business
-    Communicate supply BK plants and customers cooperate with GAM

Support supply chain team
-    Provide necessary information to Supply chain to maintain the suitable stock level in local. 
-    Provide the firm rolling forecast and monitor the PO issuing 
-    Provide the logistics cost improvement opportunity for Japanese business transactions    


Your Profile

-    University degree
-    MBA is a plus
-    Strong ability on effective communication
-    Strong resilience, integrity and perseverance
-    Passionate and self-motivated to work under pressure
-    Ability to follow "walk the talk" management and coaching
-    Eager to learn and open to change
-    Result oriented 
-    At least 5 years working experiences (sales field related)
-    Willingness to travel frequently
-    Fluent in English
